It's much easier if you can get a friend to help, and remember to take your actual body measurements in cm as it is more accurate than inches.
TIPS ON MEASURING
Bust: Measure around the fullest part of your bust, and around your back, keeping the tape measure level.
Waist: To measure around your waist, measure around the slimmest part of your waist (usually a lot higher than you think).
Hip: Measure around the fullest part of your hips.
Inside leg: Measure from the top of your inside leg at the crotch continuing down the leg to the floor. This should be done in bare feet.
Sleeve length: With hand on hip, measure from the shoulder (end of shoulder at the top of arm) and continue over bent elbow to the wrist.
All measurements are based on actual body measurements, not garment measurements.
